Leading people can be a tough gig. Every day throws new challenges at you and sometimes it’s difficult to know who to turn to when you’re not sure what to do.

You might be suffering from the “I should know this syndrome” and you’d prefer not to talk to someone you work with. Or maybe you need to bend the ear of an independent expert.

Building a full range of leadership skills takes years which doesn’t help when you’ve got a problem right in front of you that needs to be dealt with now.

That’s why Better Bosses takes a “Just-in-time” approach to coaching so that we’re here when you need us.

“With Mel’s help and support I feel more control of my life, I am able to recognise where I could improve myself, and I have found balance in my work and home environment.
Mel is perceptive, practical and a great mentor who you’ll be able to trust to provide frank and neutral advice that may be difficult to find anywhere else. Her experience, personality and unique skill set will help you become a more effective leader”

How does it work?

Purchase a package of coaching hours which can be used in 15-minute increments for a quick chat or for longer coaching sessions.

You can book a phone call or virtual coaching session. Or there’s a burning issue you need help with, contact your coach via email or Messenger and they will respond within 24 hours.

Email and Messenger conversations incur a minimum of 15 minutes.  Phone calls and virtual sessions can be booked for 15 – 60 minutes.

Your coach will keep a running tally of the minutes used and provide you with a report. The minutes can be used over a 12-month period.

If you’re a new client, we’ll ask you to fill out a short questionnaire prior to your first conversation with your coach – that way we can get accross your current situation without eating too much into your purchased hours.

See below for some examples of how the hours could be used.
